Almost home. The new home of Rosie’s Broadway Kids, The Maravel Arts Center, named for Rosie O’Donnell’s teacher who was an inspirational force in her formative years, will be an oasis for students in the heart of Broadway and the Theater district. The spacious facility will include two dance studios, a music studio, a study café, practice rooms, a library, dressing rooms, administrative offices, and many other amenities.

The building will serve as the home base for ACTE II students, who will use it throughout the school year for classes and during the yearly Summer Intensive.

The new space will also give hundreds of students at a nearby elementary school lacking proper facilities the opportunity to finally stretch their legs and minds in a new physical education project, Spotlight on Fitness, being developed in conjunction with Board of Education guidelines for both fitness and the arts.

You can help us build the Maravel Arts Center with a donation of any amount. Click here to view a list of naming opportunities, or click here to go directly to the online donation form.

A Home of Our Own” is from Love Life; 1948;
