Teaching Artist/Drama
Jeff has been teaching musical theater to children for over ten years, and has been a teaching artist with Rosie’s Broadway Kids since 2004. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University's School of Drama, with a BFA in Musical Theater, his other training includes over 15 years of private vocal studies, dance at Alvin-Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, as well as acting and improvisation classes at Weist-Barron, and The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater. As a professional actor his theater credits include performances at “Goodspeed Operahouse”, “St. Louis Municipal Theater”, “Music Theater of Wichita”, “West Virginia Public Theater”, and the “Westchester Broadway Theater” while also appearing as an original cast member of the first national tour of “Scooby-Doo in Stage-fright: Live on Stage.” Jeff has also been seen in several national commercials. His teaching philosophy has always been to inspire children, of all abilities and backgrounds, and to guide them in improving upon their self-esteem and confidence by using their voices, bodies and imaginations, through the medium of theatrical arts.
