Teaching Artist/Theater Dance
Lauren Fruchter was born and raised on Long Island, where she began her dance training at American Theater Dance Workshop at the age of six. She then continued her training at Syracuse University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theater. Lauren received extensive training at Syracuse in acting, dancing, performing, and voice. She has performed at City Center with the Fort Worth Ballet Company as well as being in many professional productions on Long Island and in Syrcause.
For the past three years, she has been producing, directing and choreographing school musicals in public schools in New York City and on Long Island. She has also been teaching dance in public schools for the past two years with Jacques d'Amboises' National Dance Institute where she has gone to schools in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan.
