Teaching Artist/Director of Faculty
Toni Noblett joined the staff of Rosie’s Broadway Kids in the fall of 2005 as a teaching artist for the PS Broadway program and as a tap teacher/choreographer for ACTE II. In the spring of 2005 she assumed the position of Director of Faculty for all programs. Attending East Carolina University as a Drama Major, Toni has extensive experience in technical theater. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Speech Education, Toni taught high school English for six years and choreographed, directed, and stage-managed many local and regional productions. For twenty-five years prior to joining the faculty of Rosie’s Broadway Kids, Toni was the artistic director and owner of a private studio.
For fifteen years, she has served as an assistant and lead tap teacher for the National Dance Institute’s summer program under the direction and mentoring of RBKids present Artistic Director, Lori Klinger. In addition, she has been a personal assistant to NDI’s Jacques d’Amboise during several regional residencies, and she locally developed and produced a segment aired on “CBS Sunday Morning with Bill Geist.” A former teacher for the Children and Teen Program at Broadway Dance Center, she currently freelances as a teacher, choreographer, and consultant in addition to her duties at RBKids.
